Website Maintenance & Management
No more emergency fixes. No more mystery downtime.
Your website is not a project you finish — it is infrastructure you maintain. WordPress sites require ongoing attention: plugin updates that can break pages if applied carelessly, security vulnerabilities that emerge weekly, performance that degrades over time, and backups that need to exist before disaster strikes, not after.
Our monthly management plan handles all of it — quietly, professionally, and without you having to think about it.
The Real Cost of an Unmaintained Website
Your website is infrastructure. Treat it like infrastructure.
An unmaintained WordPress site gets slower every month, more vulnerable every week, and one day — usually the day you need it most — it breaks.
We have fixed too many sites that should never have been allowed to reach that point. Sites that were hacked because a plugin had not been updated in eight months. Sites that lost six months of content because no backup existed. Sites that loaded in eleven seconds on mobile because nobody had checked performance since launch day.
Emergency fixes are expensive, stressful, and avoidable. Monthly maintenance is the alternative. It costs a fraction of what a single recovery operation costs — and it means recovery is never something you need.
Monthly management is the difference between owning a website and owning a liability.
What's Included
Quiet, dependable care — every single month.
Every maintenance plan covers the full stack of what keeps a WordPress site healthy, secure, and performing. Nothing is left to chance, and nothing is charged as a surprise extra.
Core, Theme & Plugin Updates
Every update tested in a staging environment before being applied to your live site. No broken pages from a runaway plugin update — a far more common occurrence than most site owners realise.
Daily Off-Site Backups
Your site backed up every day to an off-site location — completely separate from your hosting server. If anything ever goes wrong, restoration is fast and complete, not a crisis.
Security Monitoring & Malware Scanning
Active malware scanning, firewall management, brute-force login protection, and SSL certificate health monitoring. Threats are identified and addressed before they become incidents.
Uptime Monitoring
Real-time uptime monitoring that alerts us the moment your site goes offline. We know before your customers do — and we act immediately.
Performance Tuning
Monthly speed checks, caching review, image optimisation, and Core Web Vitals monitoring. Your site stays as fast as the day it launched — or faster — rather than quietly degrading over time.
Broken Link & Error Sweeps
Monthly crawl to identify broken internal links, 404 errors, and redirect chains that erode both user experience and SEO. Fixed before they compound.
Small Content Updates (up to 2 hours/month)
Text changes, image swaps, contact detail updates, and minor additions handled without a separate project quote. For small changes, just email us.
Monthly Health Report
A plain-English monthly report covering what was updated, what was found, what was fixed, and what to watch in the coming month. You are always informed — never in the dark.
How it works
Simple onboarding. Ongoing peace of mind.
Step 1 — Initial Site Assessment (Free)
We audit your existing WordPress site before committing to management: plugin state, security posture, performance baseline, backup status, and any outstanding issues. This ensures we know exactly what we are inheriting and can tell you if anything needs remediation before the plan begins.
Step 2 — Onboarding
We set up our monitoring tools, configure your backup system, install security infrastructure, and run the first round of updates. Onboarding typically takes 2 to 3 working days and is included in your first month.
Step 3 — Ongoing Monthly Management
From month two onward, we manage your site continuously. Updates are applied, backups verified, security monitored, performance checked, and your monthly content allowance used as needed.
Step 4 — Monthly Report
At the end of each month you receive a plain-English summary of everything that was done, anything flagged, and any recommendations for the month ahead.
Step 5 — On-Call for Anything Unexpected
Outside the routine, we are reachable. If something breaks, looks wrong, or you have a question about your site, you email us and get a real response from the person managing your account.
This is the right plan if:
- Your site is live but nobody is actively looking after it
- You have no idea when your WordPress plugins were last updated — or whether your backups are even working
- You have experienced a hack, a white screen of death, or unexpected downtime before and never want to repeat it
- You want predictable monthly cost instead of unpredictable emergency callout fees
- You have experienced a hack, a white screen of death, or unexpected downtime before and never want to repeat it
- You hate logging into your WordPress dashboard and want someone else to manage it entirely
- You need someone you can email when something looks wrong — and get a fast, competent response
- You want your site to still be fast, secure, and functional two years from now — without having to think about it
Investment
Predictable monthly cost. No surprise invoices.
Website maintenance is a monthly retainer, not a one-time project. The cost is fixed, the scope is clear, and you know exactly what you are getting every month.
We price every plan after the initial site assessment, once we understand the size and complexity of your site, the number of plugins, any existing issues that need remediation, and the level of content update support required.
What does not change: you deal directly with the person managing your site, you receive a plain-English report every month, and you are never charged extra for routine work within the agreed scope.

Let's Talk
Hand the maintenance over. Get on with running your business.
Your website should be the last thing you worry about. It should be working quietly in the background — fast, secure, and always online — while you focus on the work that actually grows your business.
Tell us about your site: what it runs on, who built it, and what has been happening. We will assess it, tell you what it needs, and give you a fixed monthly price with no surprises.
